Kloeckner Metals Netherlands, formerly ODS, has a long-standing partnership with PEGA, supplying the basic materials for making PEGA’s boat trailers for many years. Kloeckner Metals Netherlands, formerly ODS, has a long-standing partnership with PEGA, supplying the basic materials for making PEGA’s boat trailers for many years. Since then, instead of supplying basic products, Kloeckner has been able to supply semi-finished products, reducing the need for much less manual sawing, drilling and cutting in the production process. This allows PEGA to achieve a more efficient and higher production rate of the boat trailers. To offer certainty of delivery to PEGA, Kloeckner Metals Netherlands has customer-specific required deployment material in stock, i.e. 20 sets of each basic trailer in stock as standard so that PEGA is assured of the material, the end products and a stable price.
Functionality and design
Over the years, PEGA and Kloeckner Metals Netherlands have focused on innovation and thus together have already expanded the drawing and production of various types of trailers. To making the boat trailers more beautiful and sleek by, among other things, blindfitting all the holes needed to galvanise the trailers. This prevents customers from finding unnecessary gaps in their trailers. Kloeckner Metals Netherlands started working with PEGA’s idea and incorporated it into the drawing process.Kloeckner is fully engaged in producing the semi-finished products of the new type of trailers. Resulting in unique trailers!
Production of semi-finished products
We are convinced that semi-finished products, through profile lasering, to manufacturing companies is going to be a big part of Kloeckner. We continue to innovate and are expanding our machinery. Our latest laser machine is equipped with a thread tapping machine so that we can tap threads directly into the material for the customer without any delay in the process.

In order to serve our customers even better, Kloeckner has entered into a partnership with the Quotation Factory for calculating, which enables us to produce quotations based on (composed) step files at lightning speed and consistently. Soon, Kloeckner will also open our digital portal so that our customers can upload their requests into our quotation system 24/7.
